Co-Founder Body Recomposition & Nutrition Specialist

Meet Sara May Garcia Perez, Head Coach at Bootique Fitness&Nutrition with over 20 years of extensive experience specialising in group classes and personal training. Sara has dedicated the past 7 years to focusing on female clients, leveraging her profound understanding of their unique fitness needs. She holds a degree in Sports Science and boasts a range of fitness certifications, including Precision Nutrition.

Sara’s approach to fitness is a culmination of her own fitness journey, academic knowledge, and real-life experiences. By blending her personal triumphs with her education, she offers a tailored and effective training method that is firmly rooted in evidence-based practices.

Passionate about empowering her female clients to achieve their dream bodies, Sara draws inspiration from her background in physique competitions. Beyond physical transformations, she places a strong emphasis on educating her clients on optimal nutrition and lifestyle choices to complement their fitness aspirations.

Picture this: Sara, your go-getter personal trainer, jetting off to Bali on a whimsical spree! But hold on – it’s not all coconut cocktails and beach bumming for our fitness aficionado. CHARLIE THAKRAR​

Co-Founder, Personal Trainer & Nutritionist

Charlie Thakrar’s fitness and nutrition career began 15 years ago, quickly establishing her as an authoritative figure in the industry. She is the co-founder of Bootique Fitness & Nutrition, dedicated to helping women achieve their health & fitness goals through personalised training and nutrition. With extensive knowledge, experience, and a passion for all things fitness and nutrition, Charlie is a trusted source in the industry.

From a young age, Charlie embraced an active lifestyle. Whether playing competitive sports or partaking in outdoor activities, she loved being physically active. Her interest evolved as she grew older, leading her to explore the science behind exercise and nutrition and their impact on overall health and well-being.

Beyond her professional achievements, Charlie has a variety of hobbies that reflect her passion for a healthy lifestyle. She loves travelling, reading and cooking & creating new recipes that are both nutritious and delicious, thus blending the science of nutrition with the art of cooking.

As a personal trainer, working out is naturally one of Charlie’s preferred activities. Whether it’s weightlifting, running, or yoga, she enjoys challenging herself physically and pushing her limits.

LISA MARIE HENDERSON

PRE AND POST NATAL SPECIALIST

Lisa is a fitness professional, and drawing on her background in acting, dance, and movement, Lisa realised the pivotal role of maintaining both physical and mental strength to sustain focus and determination.

Her journey into motherhood further ignited her passion for fitness, as she empathises with the challenges of balancing work and life responsibilities.

Lisa is passionate about working with women and helping them achieve both physical and mental transformations. She specialises in pre- and post-natal fitness, understanding the unique challenges that come with this journey. By working with Lisa, women can receive guidance through all phases of this significant chapter in their lives.

Her hobbies include cycling and swimming with her kids, running and rock climbing. She also tries to participate in 1-2 challenges annually to stay driven and motivated. Currently, she is working towards a 10k run and competing in Hyrox at the end of the year.

JEN BALUTE

STRENGTH TRAINING AND LIFESTYLE SPECIALIST

Whose remarkable fitness journey began with a bold decision to leave the corporate world behind and venture into the realm of health and wellness after a pivotal moment competing in her first bikini competition back in 2016.

Fuelled by her own transformative experience, Jen discovered a deep calling to coach and empower others on their fitness paths, firmly believing that if she could achieve her goals, others could too. Her enthusiasm for coaching and connecting with people shines through in everything she does.

When she’s not conquering mountains or scaling walls, Jen’s dreams of soaring through the sky with the exhilarating rush of skydiving – a thrill that matches her adventurous spirit! Although skydiving may be a splurge, she finds joy and excitement in various adrenaline-pumping experiences.

In her training routine,Jen thrives on Strength & Conditioning, considering it the cornerstone of her fitness journey. While she may not be the biggest fan of hiit/Metcon workouts, she enjoys the camaraderie and excitement of pushing her limits alongside others.

MIRANTI

Instructor

Miranti’s passion for fitness and sports began in her teenage years when she actively participated in track and field, netball, rugby, and Muay Thai. Through her experiences, she discovered the critical importance of strength training to prevent injuries and enhance power and endurance in sports.

Driven by a deep curiosity about how the body functions, Miranti pursued extensive education in the field. She earned her diploma, degree, and postgraduate qualifications in exercise and sports science.

After dedicating 8 years as a lecturer, Miranti transitioned to the fitness industry to directly educate clients on the significance of proper technique and form for improving their lives. Her expertise and dedication are invaluable assets to our team.

Miranti is an avid enthusiast of cardio classes, relishing the intensity and fast pace they offer. However, she remains equally committed to strength training, emphasizing a balanced approach to fitness.

In her free time, Miranti enjoys participating in cardio-based classes, running, and occasionally swimming.

LYNN

Instructor

Meet Lynn, a dynamic force in the world of fitness and wellness. With a lifetime passion for staying active, Lynn embarked on a new adventure by entering the realm of competitive bodybuilding. In 2022, she proudly stepped on stage for the first time as a Masters Bikini Athlete at the inspiring age of 45.

But Lynn’s expertise doesn’t stop there. She is also an International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) Certified Personal Trainer, committed to empowering women of all ages. Her mission is to help her clients unlock their full potential by getting stronger, maintaining health, and living their best lives.

Lynn believes in the power of consistent workouts, balanced nutrition, and a positive lifestyle. Whether you’re just starting on your fitness journey or looking to level up, Lynn’s guidance and motivation can help you achieve your goals.
